Our London Summer Vacation Scheme lets you experience what it's like to be a trainee solicitor at Winston Taylor.

What you'll do

From your first day, you'll benefit from comprehensive training and support. Our induction program will introduce you to our partners, employees and business strategy, helping you build a strong understanding of the firm and how we work. You'll also be paired with a current trainee as your buddy, alongside a supervisor, both of whom can provide guidance, answer your questions and share their experiences.

You’ll spend two weeks immersed in two different practice areas, gaining first-hand experience under the supervision of our approachable associates and partners. You'll also be involved in socials, networking opportunities, pro bono work, and more, so you'll end the scheme with invaluable experience and a clear sense of career direction.

Eligibility

To be able to apply for our Summer Vacation Scheme, you'll need to be in the penultimate year of your degree or beyond.

You will also need to confirm that you meet all of the following criteria:

• Have achieved AAB A Levels (or equivalent)
• Have achieved, or are on track to achieve, a 2:1 for your degree
• Available to start your Training Contract in September 2029 or 2030
• Available to attend the Summer Vacation Scheme from June 21 - July 2, 2027.

Recruitment process

• Stage one: Application form
• Stage two: Online assessments
• Stage three: Written exercise - this will take place in January
• Stage four: Assessment day - this will take place in February.

Completing one of our vacation schemes is the only way to be considered for a training contract.
