2027 Scotland Vacation Scheme

Your commercial law career starts here

Our two-week Vacation Scheme is your chance to experience life with us, combining real work with training, networking and development to help you discover where a career here could take you.

From day one, you'll be part of one of our practice areas, working alongside your supervisor and team on real client work and challenging tasks that make a genuine contribution. Along the way, you'll build your commercial awareness and legal knowledge through interactive training sessions and Lunch & Learns with teams including Responsible Business, Talent Development and Pro Bono, plus firm-wide networking and social events with colleagues from across the firm.

By the end of the scheme, you'll have built valuable relationships, developed the skills and confidence to succeed, and gained a clear understanding of what building your career here is like. We'll also be assessing you for our Trainee Solicitor Programme throughout, with your performance over the two weeks and a final reflective interview forming part of the assessment process.

This could be your first step towards a rewarding career in commercial law with us.

Additionally, there is a free text box available within the application form for you to provide any further information or context that does not fit within the set fields.

Before you start your application

Please note, you are not required to upload any documents at the application stage.
